Genetics Laboratory 2017 [Summer] Thinking About Luminescent Bacteria And The Future of Medical Treatment＜Venue: Miraikan＞
We are pleased to announce the reopening of the science event we held early this year in March for Junior and Senior High School students!
In a few decades time, if we were able to freely recode human genes, what society look like?
Hereditary conditions may cease to exist. We might be able to improve our ability to ward off diseases. We could be able to design the way we look – becoming as strong and as beautiful as we wished. Yet it seems that things wouldn't be solved so simply.
Through discussion and experiments, this event is an opportunity to think about genetics and our future.
