Station Ticket Machines
|One-Way Ticket||Day of sale||See the fare table|
|Round-Trip Ticket||Two days including the day of sale||Twice one-way ticket fare|
Stopover is not permitted with the single ticket, round-trip ticket, coupon ticket or group ticket. If you make a stopover and exit the station, the remaining section of the route becomes invalid. The ticket will be collected at the ticket gate and no refund for the remaining section will be made.
Section Change and Return Ride without Stopover
Regular Ticket / Rount-Trip Ticket / Coupon Tickets
If you change a traveling section, the negative difference between the fare you already paid and the fare after a change must be paid.
No refund is made for a section change.
When you ride a returning train without stopover, the fare for this returning section must be paid.
The fare for any section you ride other than the one designated on your commuter pass must be paid.
If you wish to change the route section for your commuter pass, you should first purchase a commuter pass for a new route section.
If you use the counter of other train lines for this new issuance, you should obtain the certificate for section change from this counter. Refund will be made for the remaining period of your old pass minus a handling fee (220 yen).
A section of the Yurikamome route must be included for both the old and new commuter passes.
※The valid remaining period is calculated on the basis of a 10-day unit. Each month has three units with the third having 8 to 11 days depending on months.
Refund is processed at Shimbashi or Toyosu stations.
Regular One-Way Ticket / One-Day Pass
The ticket must be submitted prior to the departure time or within the validity period of the ticket. Refund will be made with a handling fee.
The handling fee is 190 yen for each regular one-way ticket and 220 yen for each one-day pass.
(1) The ticket that is unused and submitted within the validity period can be refunded with a handling fee of 190 yen.
(2) The ticket that is used one-way and submitted with the validity period can be refunded for the returning journey with a handling fee of 190 yen.
(1) The coupon tickets (a set of 12 tickets) that are unused and submitted within the validity period can be refunded with a handling fee of 220 yen.
(2) As to the coupon tickets that are partly used and submitted within the validity period, unused part can be refunded with a handling fee of 220 yen.
If the commuter pass is no longer necessary, refund is made for unused period per month with a handling fee of 220 yen.
Example: When a pass has been used for one month plus one day
The used period is assumed to be two month as the extra one day is already into the second month.
Refundable amount ＝ Commuter pass cost – (1 month pass cost x 2 + handling fee)
If the used period is 7 days or less, however, the following formula will be applied:
Refundable amount ＝ Commuter pass cost – ([round-trip fare] x [number of days] + handling fee)
Examples of calculation formula for a 6-month commuter pass
|Month Used||Reimbursement Forumula|
|1||Refundable amount ＝ commuter pass cost – (1 month pass cost + handling fee)|
|2||Refundable amount ＝ commuter pass cost – ([1 month pass cost] x 2 + handling fee)|
|3||Refundable amount ＝ commuter pass cost – (3 month pass cost + handling fee)|
|4||Refundable amount ＝ commuter pass cost – (3 month pass cost + 1 month pass cost + handling fee)|
|5||Refundable amount ＝ commuter pass cost – (3 month pass cost + [1 month pass cost] x 2 + handling fee)|
