Shimbashi

Shimbashi was the Tokyo terminal of Japan’s first railway line (the other terminal, Yokohama) established in 1872. The original station was located at the site of the Railway History Exhibition Hall in Shiodome, which was opened in 2003.

The other plants used in the calendar were pine (January), plum (February), cherry (March), wisteria (April), iris (May), peony (June), bush clover (July), silver grass (August), chrysanthemum (September), maple (October) and paulownia (December).
