Elevators and escalators have been installed to make access from ground level entrances to platforms and station passages smooth and easy. Tactile pavings for visually-impaired people, Braille information boards, and multi-functional toilets are also available to make our facilities safe and comfortable for all passengers.
Elevators take you from the ground level to the ticket gate floor and then to platforms.
There are two elevators linking the ground level and ticket gate floor, on the right and left sides of the station building, at Shiodome, Telecom Center, Ariake-tennis-no-mori, Shijo-mae, and Shin-toyosu. Some stations have one elevator on one side, or are lined with adjacent facilities offering elevator connection.
You can find a so-called ‘walk-through’ elevator to go to platforms at Ariake-tennis-no-mori, Shijo-mae, Shin-toyosu, and Toyosu. This type of elevator has openings on two opposite sides and you do not have change the direction of your body to get off.
There is an escalator connection from the ground level to platforms.
All the stations have an escalator connection from the ticket gate floor to platforms.
Each stair has a dark-colored stripe to make climbing up and down safer and easier.
The wash basins are of two different heights and each toilet is equipped with hand rails at Ariake-tennis-no-mori, Shijo-mae, Shin-toyosu, and Toyosu stations.
Women’s toilets are equipped with a large baby changing table. A baby chair is available in a western-style toilet stall at both men’s and women’s.

An elevator connection takes you to the toilets from the ticket gate floor.
Signs on your way to the platform are displayed in blue and green, and those on your way to the exit in orange and yellow.
Each platform has passenger information displays that show the location and arrival time of incoming trains.
Information displays are located in the middle part of each train carriage, showing the next station and the side of doors opening.

Gap Between Platform and Train
The gap between platform and trains is only 6cm at Ariake-tennis-no-mori, Shijo-mae, Shin-toyosu, and Toyosu stations, allowing smooth passage.
The other stations are equipped with ramps at the platform doors to minimize the gap.
There is a wheelchair space in the train.
The wheelchair sign is displayed on the platform floor where the carriage with wheelchair space will stop.
See the chart below for the layout of priority seats and wheelchair space.
Each station has yellow tactile pavings.
Stairs are marked with Braille signs on the handrails at their beginning and ending.
Tactile station maps are available at the street-level entrance and near the ticket gate.
